Know Thyself

In certain self help lecture in Philadelphia this incident happened:

The master entered the room full of his students carrying a dollar bill in his hand. Then suddenly he asked a question to the students,

Who wants this dollar bill?
Several hands went up, but the lecturer said:
- Before giving it away to anyone, there’s something I must do.

He ferociously crushed it, and asked again:
- Who still wants this bill?
The hands continued raised.
- The master smiled and asked and what if I do this?

He threw it against the wall, letting it fall to the floor, kicked it, stamped in it and again held up the bill – all dirty and crumpled. He repeated the question, and the hands continued to be held high.

- You mustn’t ever forget this scene – said the lecturer. – No matter what I do with this money, it’ll still be a one dollar bill.

“Many times in our lives, we are crushed, stamped on, kicked, maltreated, offended; however, in spite of this, we are still worth the same. One should neither underestimate his real self, no matter what the condition is, the tremendous capacity to crush the difficulty with the concrete efforts is always there in every human being, because we are the dazzling spark of that eternal flame of that omniscient and omnipotent being.”

History Behind the Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all...

I love the old saying that says, God cannot be all the places at the same time so he created the mother. Today all the children of the most of the parts of the world got chance to pay homage to the entity second to God only. Yes mother's day is the chance for the children to say thank you for all the love and care she had given to the child and to say sorry for every misbehavior towards her. So, let me first greet all the mothers in the world Happy Mother's Day.

If one writes emotionally about the mother than all the pages in the world won't be enough. So I decided to say somewhat unknown aspect of Mother's Day. Its history and significance. The Mother’s Day is not the brainchild of the modern world it has been in the history of the world in different form at different parts of the world. The ancient Greeks used to celebrate this day as a part of Cybele in honor of the mountain mother or Mother Earth. The ancient Romans also used to celebrate this festival as a Hilaria which is related to Greek Cybele cult as well. If we want to trace the roots of this festival in the modern times than we have to go back to the American Poetess Julia Ward Howe. The "Mother's Day Proclamation" written by her was  one of the early calls to celebrate a Mother's Day in the United States. Written in 1870, it was a pacifist reaction to the carnage of the American Civil War and the Franco-Prussian War. The Proclamation was tied to Howe's feminist belief that women had a responsibility to shape their societies at the political level. International was celebrated for the first time in 28 February 1909, in the US, by which time Anna Jarvis had already begun her national campaign in the US. It is now celebrated in many countries on March 8. The tradition to celebrate mother’s day on the second Sunday of May was first spelt by Anna Jarvis in 1912, this step trademarked the phrases "second Sunday in May" and "Mother's Day", and created the Mother's Day International Association. The U.S. President Woodrow Wilson used this spelling in the law making official the holiday in the U.S., by the U.S. Congress on bills, and by other U.S. presidents on their declarations.
The Mother’s Day is celebrated around the globe but on different days and in honor of different deities. In most of the Roman Catholic countries it is associated with the Virgin Marry and in Islamic world it is associated with the birth date of the daughter of the Prophet Mohammad, in Hindu tradition also Mother’s day is celebrated in different form like Navaratris in the honor of nine forms of Devi Durga, Baisakhi in the Punjab in the honor of mother earth.

So, all over the world the purpose, the deities and the days might be different but the one thing is common in the celebration of this festival, which is Love and honor of the Mother. I feel that is what really matters!

Life is Paradox...!!!

I actually can’t understand why it happens, but sometimes in the life you find yourself in the situation where you can't look the way ahead. Only thing you know is you must walk...either you find the floral paths or the fire path !! One have to surrender the decision taken by don't know who....some says God, some says destiny, some says karmic relations, some says life. But, one thing is for sure that you have to follow the law of the life there's no way out. The flow of life is constantly flowing and you have no choice but flowing with it.....

That journey is labeled as life.....the flow of life....

where everything is pre-decided  or nothing is     certain !!

where time is created by man or man is   governed   by time !

where nothing is in your hands or you are his almighty !

where everything is flowing with life or everything is stable

where everything is perfectly made or you can make it better

where relations are made in heaven or you can build them here

where world is made up of love or one can't find any in lifetime !

where you got no control on your life or  can change your destiny !

where your life itself is not your decision or

you can decide each aspect of your life !

where death is decided and certain or you think ....
oh ! You never think about that, did U??!!

yeah...thats true  we never wanna accept that we are also going to die, right?? Let's try this, just imagine that you are going to die in a week.....still you keep behaving like you behave everyday......just think.....not only read and forget.......try that....and don't forget to reply me what u feel......

Stephen Hawking- new way of thinking

It was the time of mid 1970s, and a genius boy was about to complete his doctorate in physics, when he learn that the disease which he already carrying would gradually paralyze all his movements. And his doctor said of him that he had only two more years to live.

‘Right then,’ he thought to himself. ‘Now that I don’t need to worry about things like pensions or paying the bills, I can concentrate on trying to understand the Universe.’

Since the disease was progressing rapidly, he was forced to come up with ways of explaining his ideas as simply and as briefly as possible.

Two and a half years went by, twenty years went by, and  that boy is still alive being the world's most reputed and decorated theoretical physicist and cosmologist, an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a lifetime member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and in 2009 was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States,  Stephen Hawking. He can communicate his highly abstract ideas through a tiny computer hooked up to his wheelchair and which has a vocabulary of only 500 words.

He wrote his classic A Brief History of Time, which stayed on the British Sunday Times bestsellers list for a record-breaking 237 weeks. With his other works like Black Holes and Baby Universes and Other Essays, The Universe in a Nutshell, The Theory of Everything, and the latest The Grand Design he is still perplexing the curious minds with his genius. He is responsible for creating an entirely new vision of modern physics.

Rather than leading him into
a life of complete disability, the illness forced him to discover a new way of thinking.

Einstein and The Theory of Absolute!!

Life is like a bicycle, to keep it in balance you have to keep it moving.
- Albert Einstein

Time waits for nobody....people said and upto Newton whole world was thinking the same way...But on one Good Morning of June 30,1905 a young Jewsish man from Germany turned the whole world and Physics up side down with just a piece of paper and a pencil!! The man was Albert Herman Einstein, the boy who was rejected by so many people in his school days, the boy for whom his father has to give recommendation letter urging his professor to give his "poor" boy a job! At the time of writing that letter he never knew that his poor boy will make so many giants like Sir Isaac Newton look poor in Physics and Maths. .

The paper in which he boggled minds of whole Physics community was just 30 pages and was submitted to another giant in Physics Max Plank. And another interesting thing was he never called his theories as "Theory of relativity", instead he named his paper as " On the Electrodynamics of moving bodies". In that paper actually he explained everything on the moving bodies but the most famous scientific equation E= mc2 was not included in that paper, it was in the supplement which the genius sent to Max Plank some days later, and that supplement changed the course of the world science after that.
